The coordinates that frame our experience are neither clear nor objective. We place things in relation to our bodies, and distances and moments are stretched or shrunk as we perform space and time.
Yo estuve allí (I was there, 2019) explores the relationship between place and memory, recreating and constructing a landscape through my memories of it. It is an immersive installation made of large scale paintings and wooden structures, giving the viewer the feeling of being part of this subjective panorama.
